We use a hand-guided Gammill quilting machine to quilt your tops.

BASIC ALL-OVER DESIGN

  • Includes:   Loops & Stars, Large Meandering Rose, Dogwood and Meandering Ivy)

 
 

ADVANCED ALL-OVER DESIGN 

  • Includes:  Small Meandering Rose, Curly Feather and Meandering Feather)
 
 

BINDINGS

  • For an additional charge we can hand-stitch a binding with mitered corners onto your quilts. 
  • You supply the binding.  Bindings must be 3" wide and long enough to hem the border of the quilt.
 
 

CUSTOM QUILTING

  • Specifically for quilters who want an individualized design. 
  • Maybe for applique' quilts or for those who want feathered wreaths in a solid block, etc. 
  • Prices for custom quilting will be quoted on an individual basis for each quilt.
 
 

QUILT PREPARATION

  • Quilt tops and backing need to be pressed and any loose threads on the front clipped. 
  • Make sure all seams are secure.
 
 

BACKING

  • You provide the backing.  It must be 4" wider and 4" longer than your quilt top on all sides to allow for stretching in quilting rack. 
  • We have several different extra-wide backings available in the Quilt Shop. 
  • If you choose to use a sheet for backing, you must remove all seams and hems. 
  • If backing has to be pieced together, you will need to have that prepared.
 
 

THREAD AND BATTING

  • We supply thread and batting. 
  • Our thread is 100% cotton. 
  • We have 2 battings for you to choose from...Heirloom Cotton or 100% polyester.
 
 

COMPLETION TIME

  • Quilting will be on a first come, first served basis. 
  • We will do our best to give you an estimated completion date and to complete your quilt by that time.
 
 

GUARANTEE

  • We will work to make your finished quilt the best it can be. 
  • We all know that quilting can hide many imperfections, but we cannot guarantee that any fullness in your quilt top will be quilted out.
